Surplus supports transaction data sync with over 10k financial institutions in US and CA. The app uses to connect to your bank accounts effortlessly and securely without sharing any personal information.

There are a couple of ways to add a financial institution:

  • Selecting the "Link bank accounts" option during the onboarding experience.

  • Tapping on the "Settings" tab, selecting "Accounts" and then tapping on the "+" button

Transaction sync is a premium feature that requires an active purchase.

Upon selecting the "Link bank accounts" option, you will prompted to connect to your financial institution using Plaid.

Once an account is added, it can take up to a few minutes to sync the initial data. Going forward Surplus will continue to sync data from the linked accounts whenever a new data becomes available.
